JOB SUMMARY 

As a Landscape Architect with 3-5 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in our team, bridging junior and senior levels. You'll manage small to medium-sized urban projects from concept to construction, balancing hands-on design work with growing project management responsibilities. Collaborating across disciplines, you'll craft innovative solutions for challenging urban environments while mentoring junior staff. This position offers opportunities to enhance both technical and interpersonal skills through client interactions and team collaboration. As a key team member, you'll have the opportunity to significantly impact our projects and grow professionally in a dynamic, collaborative environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage small to medium-sized urban landscape projects from concept through construction documentation and administration.

  • Develop and refine design concepts, including sketches, 3D models, and presentation materials

  • Perform construction administration duties, including site visits and contractor coordination

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design ideas

  • Contribute to the firm's digital design workflow, utilizing and exploring new technologies and software

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program

  • 3-5  years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on urban projects. 

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks (within three months) and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Adept at developing digital 3D landscape architectural models (Within Rhino or Revit is preferred), including developing final renderings in Lumion or Enscape. 

  • Solid understanding of landscape construction materials and methods 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Professional Landscape Architectural license or on track to obtain licensure within two years

  • Familiarity with the use of Revit to develop construction documentation

  • Horticulture knowledge and plant communities

  • Experience with community engagement and participatory design processes

  • Experience working with the application of AI platforms to landscape architecture.
